Spring 2026 Opera Screenings

Join the Humanities Seminars Program for a free spring series of opera-on-screen presentations in the Dorothy Rubel Room. This season explores five beloved works from the operatic repertoire: Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor (January 23) and La Fille du Régiment (February 18), Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette (March 17), Bizet’s Carmen (April 21), and Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier (May 27).

Whether you are new to opera or a longtime enthusiast, these informal screenings offer an inviting space to experience great music, compelling stories, and shared discovery. Seating is free but limited. Please reserve your spot by completing the form below.

Location: Dorothy Rubel Room, Poetry Center
1508 E Helen St, Tucson, AZ 85721
